Research at Writing and Cultural Studies
The area supports a wide program of research projects reflecting the diversity of its staff and students. Some of the current projects include: creative work in novel, poetry, critical essay and film direction, creative non-fiction projects and research into Vietnamese and South East Asian Writing, colonial and post-colonial histories of discovery, performance art, hip hop and popular music, film studies, modalities of mixed media and multimedia, experimental approaches to history writing, pedagogy and creativity.
