Thinking about studying overseas? Each semester a number of UTS: Communication students go international for a unique and memorable learning experience. You have several options for overseas study, including the Student Exchange Program, Study Abroad, and the combined International Studies degrees.
Student Exchange
Through the Student Exchange program you can complete part of your study overseas and receive credit towards your degree at UTS. The UTS Student Exchange Program has established formal links with over 100 universities in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Study Abroad
What if you want to go to a university that doesn't have an exchange agreement with UTS? Try Study Abroad instead. The world is at your doorstep with this option - you choose the country, the university and the subjects. If it’s approved, then you can count it towards your course. Combined International Studies Degrees
Yet another way to study overseas as part of your course is to apply for the International Studies combined degree. All students enrolled in the combined Bachelor of Arts in Communication and International Studies degrees spend the fourth year of their five-year program studying at one of the UTS partner universities overseas. In preparation for this experience you will learn a language and culture over four semesters at the Institute for International Studies. Besides twenty different languages, the Institute offers subjects which focus on cultural, political and economic conditions in Asian, Latin American and European countries.
