Matthew Byrne and Professor Jeori Fernandes, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) are undertaking a pilot for a major international research project with the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. This project is seeking funding from the European Union and the ARC. The project aims to investigate the cultural practices of idea generation in the USA, Australia and Europe to determine any processes that can be adapted for industry. Matthew has also commenced a pilot study for the generation and testing of a blue collar change model. This study is similar to the Australian study 'Transforming the Blue' but will look at the German environment which is characterised by mass oversupply of blue collar workers, to study the effects of supply and demand.
