Professional collaborations: internships for students
An important part of the UTS Public Communication degree is its internship program where students have an opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt during their degree. The university's excellent reputation for providing high quality vocational training means the students enter their internships with the skills necessary to make a valuable contribution to an organisation.
Each year we have over 100 students looking for an internship placement in either the public relations or advertising industries.
What is an internship?
An internship provides valuable insight and vocational experience for students considering a career in advertising, public relations, public affairs, corporate communication, community relations, internal communication or integrated communication. The internship is completed on an unpaid basis and organisations are asked to provide meaningful and relevant experience to complement the students' university studies.
