Why study public communication at UTS?

Studying public communication will broaden your options and challenge your understanding of the world and yourself. Public communication at UTS combines a highly practical approach with the latest research, trends and developments in public relations and communication management. The balance of theory and practice makes UTS students highly sought after graduates.

Our courses are accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the International Advertising Association (IAA). Graduates who complete an appropriate sequence of subjects are eligible to receive an IAA Diploma in Marketing Communications upon graduating from UTS and students undertaking the undergraduate program in advertising may compete for IAA student awards. Our courses are also endorsed by the Advertising Federation of Australia (AFA) and the Media Federation of Australia.

Courses in the program are regularly reviewed by a specialist industry advisory committee to ensure that they remain current and relevant to industry needs.
