About the Public Communication program area
The public communication area prepares students to work in the areas of public relations and advertising by giving them a thorough grounding in the latest communication theory and equipping them with practical skills highly valued by the industry.
Public communication involves the design and management of communication processes such as public relations and advertising campaigns. Our courses are taught by communication professionals who have a wealth of practical knowledge and expertise. We aim to challenge our students to think critically and independently within the framework of ethical and responsible communication.
Our courses are accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the International Advertising Association. Our courses are also endorsed by the Advertising Federation of Australia (AFA) and the Media Federation of Australia.
