We will advertise jobs to our students
At UTS we recognise that our information management and knowledge management graduates are highly sought after by employers and that it is a competitive market. At I&KM, we will advertise job vacancies from organisations directly and exclusively to our students.
We encourage organisations to advise us of their graduate employment opportunities so that we can promote them directly to our final year students. Placements for our students
Organisations, students and UTS all benefit from work experience placements. For a student, it helps to cement their learning; for an organisation it gives you a worker for free, it enables you to contribute to the future development of professionals, and it gives you an opportunity to identify potential employees; for UTS, it helps us build links to industry and helps us ensure that our program is matching the needs of industry and the profession.
I&KM staff will work with an organisation to identify how to tailor a placement so that it suits all three parties. The placement will then be advertised to our students exclusively.
