UTS: Communication offer undergraduate courses in the study areas:
- information and media,
- journalism,
- media arts and production,
- public communication,
- social inquiry,
- sound and music design, and
- writing and cultural studies.
Honours program
In each of theses study areas, honours (research) degrees are available for eligible students allowing them to work at a higher level of academic study.
Combined degrees
You can take your career and personal ambitions one step further and combine a UTS: Communication degree with:
- law, or
- international studies.
Sub majors
Students enrolled in the BA Communication degree have a choice of a range of sub majors to complement the core and major choice subjects.
How to apply
Domestic students
For domestic students application is through Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).
Year 12 applicant
Selection is based on Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) only.
Non-Year 12 applicant
Applicants are selected on academic merit based on their previous UAI, ATAR or post-school subjects already completed.
Applicants with no educational qualifications and with five or more years of work experience or equivalent may be requested to provide an undergraduate admissions personal statement.
